I think that’s a nice subject to start my blog. Why do I want to be called HR Engineer?
Big question dude! I was thinking to start my personal blog for HR. HR Engineer came as a sudden choice! No Previous thoughts.
But after I started this blog, I gave so many thoughts to being an “HR Engineer”. And the reasons that came to me are:
- HR Management is not only an art it is a science. So somebody want to change HR should be proud to be called HR Engineer.
- HR is all about innovating, changing, improving and managing ‘man’, so its basically a engineering issue.
- I have a background in engineering, and (incidentally) I am in HR, so I am an HR Engineer.
- I have a knack for technology, so I can either be a HR technologist or HR Engineer. And there are lots of HR Technologists, so I am HR Engineer.
And believe me I can keep inventing reasons for being an HR Engineer, such that it can be made a formal designation in HR department. Not a bad thought!
